Oblivious to Credit Card Deals!

My friends and I were discussing our favourite credit cards the other day and it got me to thinking that my card is less than appealing! I had no idea interest free days existed! As soon as i've finished writing here i'm going to hunt down a new credit card with some useful and money saving features. I'm most interested in the interest free days but would also like a deal on balance transfers since I hope to transfer the balance of my current card onto the new one. These links are to some websites my friends recommended to help me find a new credit card online:

  1. Credit Card Service
  2. Bank Cards
  3. Online Credit Cards
  4. Credit Card Companies
  5. Credit Card Deal
  6. Credit Card Consolidations
  7. Card Services
  8. Credit Card Debts
  9. Credit Cards Apply Online
  10. Credit Card Services
I've also been told about the great rewards program available from many credit card companies which could earn me many different products I love and even QANTAS flights! I usually use my credit card for shopping online or in store so I should rack up a nice amount of points in no time.

The Box! THE BOX!

My phone recently let me down the other day as I was about to make an important call. I've had that mobile for about 4 years so I think it's finally time to upgrade to a 3G mobile phone with all the fancy new features and a sliding mechanism. I better buy a new phone with my credit card tonight if possible so I don't end up in that situation again!

I plan to buy the mobile phone online so I won't need to search through many shops comparing prices and phone features with a sales assistant following me everywhere. I'm hoping not to buy an expensive phone but I am also wary of particularly cheap mobiles as i've found they either fail on me after only a few months, or are actually from another country with different power requirements.

It will be such an exciting moment when the package arrives at the door and I get to open the untouched mobile phone box. I'll buy a mobile phone sock and screen protectors in preparation so I don't destroy my new mobiles finish within hours of receiving it. I better start researching the mobile of my dreams!

Some Useful Websites

It takes so long sifting through so many sites determining what is useful information but now i've discovered a website where people can create an account and fill it with recommended websites. These are some of my personal favourite accounts:

Chris's account contains many useful websites on real estate and loans. Archibald has filled his account with finance sites and wedding sites. Jenny's website displays several links to credit cards and weddings.

Tired of Working on the Farm - time for a new career!

The high ranking Australian jobs and career website, Jobs.com.au, has partnered with JOBX in a move to improve the customer experience with greater search functionality and a wider variety of advertised positions. The Jobs.com.au business was acquired in June 2007 by a Brisbane-based web publishing firm. Since the original relaunch of Jobs.com.au in 2007, the website has continued its rise in popularity to its current standing as one of the highest ranking job sites in Australia.

Brisbane, QLD (PRWEB) April 19, 2008 -- The high ranking Australian jobs and career website, Jobs.com.au, has partnered with JOBX in a move to improve the customer experience with greater search functionality and a wider variety of advertised positions. The Jobs.com.au business was acquired in June 2007 by a Brisbane-based web publishing firm. Since the original relaunch of Jobs.com.au in 2007, the website has continued its rise in popularity to its current standing as one of the highest ranking job sites in Australia.

Jobs.com.au CEO, Peter Andronicos, understood the need for a more comprehensive user experience if the website was to grow, the dynamic career website JOBX was approached to further develop the functionality of Jobs.com.au. This partnership has benefited JOBX by providing them with much more high quality traffic than they would normally have expected and has shown exceptional results in a very limited amount of time. A marked increase in the exploration of the pages on Jobs.com.au has also been felt, demonstrating that users have embraced the changes with gusto.

With the unemployment rate at astonishing lows of 4.0% in March 2008, job search sites offer more potential than ever before in helping people into the careers they want. Low unemployment and a high level of new jobs being advertised every day means that users more than ever before will need easily accessible and understandable help to sort through the massive range of career choices. Signs that job advertisements have fallen in both February and March indicates some slowing of the economy, but this makes it more vital than ever to get into the right job before competition rises again.

Using the JOBX platform allows Jobs.com.au to provide a range of tools and resources for job seekers. From job-related videos, including tips on how to do well in interviews to inspiration and advice from experts in their field. There's also a range of web 2.0 features such as the job wiki, polls, webinars, job news, competitions and podcasts. Jobs.com.au also provides a cheaper alternative for employers to advertise a job online with listings starting from just $29.95.

Jobs.com.au provided a portal to many top career websites and job search tools from its original launch in 2007, but the redesign of the site has dramatically improved the range of user experience. A powerful search tool has been added to the site, making it much more convenient to find the best jobs, as well as a massive expansion of the job categories index to help users of all kinds to narrow down their search criteria even further. Additionally, extra resources and training possibilities have been added to the Jobs.com.au site by JOBX, giving users help beyond just searching through advertised positions.

Time To Expand

Finally the rains have reached us and everything is looking much greener! I think it's time to get more stock in and expand our farming enterprise. More jobs will definitely be created so we may need to take out a loan from banks to help get things started.

Credit cards might be the way to go while we find the right banks for us and wait for the application to be approved. Hopefully the rain will continue to fall regularly and everything will flourish!
